The GDP
Data transfer.
Whether you are planning to start with GDP-EDI with just a few partner companies, have many business partners, whether your business partners already use their own EDI systems or not: GDP-EDI adapts to your needs.
AS2
The AS2 data transfer has been specifically developed for e-commerce. The sender receives the digital receipt of delivery MDN (Message Disposition Notification) from the AS2 protocol, which can prove timely delivery.
HTTP(S)-Post
Data transfer occurs either via HTTP or HTTPS using the standard “Post” method. The unique identity of the sender is authenticated either through a certificate or via a username with a password.
(S)FTP
With FTP, data is transferred over the FTP protocol. If you operate your own FTP server for data exchange, you can use it. Alternatively, GDP provides you with an FTP server.
X.400
If your business partner can only receive or send data through an X.400 mailbox, GDP provides you with an X.400 mailbox.
VAN
The data is transmitted, for example, via GXS. You can continue to send and receive your data via your existing VAN mailbox.
OFTP2
After exchanging the Odette IDs, which are assigned by the Association of the Automotive Industry, the EDI data can be exchanged in both directions.
